AMD CTO Mark Papermaster confirmed at the RAISE AI Summit in Paris that the company will officially unveil its next-generation Zen 6 processors at the AMD Advancing AI 2026 event, scheduled for July 22-23 in San Francisco.
Papermaster emphasized that many enterprise customers have decades of x86 infrastructure investment and are not abandoning their installed base. Since launching the original Zen architecture in 2017, AMD has now reached its sixth generation. The upcoming processors are designed to strengthen x86 competitiveness while delivering targeted optimizations for legacy x86 workloads.
The Advancing AI 2026 event at Moscone West will bring together developers, enterprise customers, and ecosystem partners for technical deep dives and product announcements.
